This immersive summer school offers a rare blend of and unique insights into cutting-edge research and hands-on experience in healthy longevity, delivered by an interdisciplinary team of experts from UZH and top global institutions. With its unique geographical position in the heart of Europe and near innovation pioneers in various public and private sectors (pharma industry, World Health Organization, finance), the program includes unique opportunities for site visits in healthy ageing and longevity stakeholders.

To participate in this summer school, you should meet the following entry requirements:
Study Level: This course is open to all Advanced Bachelor and Master students with a strong interest in the topic.
Subject Areas/Prior Knowledge: The summer school is open to students from all fields, in particular psychology, medicine, sociology, humanities, biology, economics, data science or related fields with a strong interest in the topic. Podcasts and a reading list will be provided before the start of the program to ensure that all students share a common level of knowledge.
Language Requirements: Applicants must possess a sufficient command of English (broadly CEFR B2 or equivalent) to be able to actively contribute to classes. This needs to be visible from your motivation letter, previous studies or work experience.
Program fee: approx. 3,450 Swiss francs (incl. accommodation)
The tuition fee includes: All teaching lessons (incl. live sessions, podcasts, group assignments etc.) and the final assessment; accommodation; a comprehensive social program that will foster your intercultural competence; a final certificate and a transcript indicating the credits earned in the program.
Generous partner discounts are available to students from selected partner universities. There are also opportunities for scholarships. The discounts are limited and awarded on a rolling basis, giving preference to early applicants.
Lessons will be held daily (Monday – Friday) in the form of interactive classes, lecture sessions and an innovathon. Attendance and active participation in sessions is mandatory to successfully pass the program.
Beside the lectures and workshops, you will also work in groups on your final project. The expected workload for this summer school program is approx. 30 hours/week.
Please also take into account that you will have to prepare properly for this course before the start of the program. Instructions, a reading list and podcasts/pre-recordings will be sent by the end of May to all enrolled students.
